Michele Miceli, I am the creator, CEO, founder of Santos Legacy , although everyone knows me as Rey .

How did Santos Legacy come about?

Santos Legacy wasn't born from a plan or a business model, but from a group of friends, aptly named "Santos." It all started from there. We just wanted T-shirts with our band's name on them, something that represented us.

Then, almost by accident, I started creating some designs, ordering some garments and asking myself questions like: "Why not turn this into a real brand?"

I had no experience, but when I decided to give it a serious try, I discovered I already knew a lot. Perhaps it was due to the experience I'd accumulated over the years, or perhaps just a desire to learn.

The first success on TikTok

In March, I launched the Santos Legacy Instagram page, then started posting on TikTok. With my fourth video, something unexpected happened: 400,000 views and nearly 8,000 comments . All positive. It was the moment I realized what I'd created was starting to work.

The first sale

I still remember the first sale : a polo shirt and a T-shirt .

I was thrilled. It was the first day of the brand and I already had an order. From there, things started to move.

It wasn't all perfect, quite the opposite. I had periods when orders came in frequently, and others when nothing happened for weeks. But I never stopped. I did practically everything myself: design, website, marketing, shipping. Thanks to my friends, I had the push we all need. They believed in me when it was easy to give up.

And this is the story of the Italian streetwear brand Santos Legacy .

Who am I?

But behind all this there is me, Michele Miceli.

I was never the type to go out on Saturday nights and get drunk or party. I stayed home, planning, thinking about how to create something of my own.

Previous projects

Before Santos Legacy I tried many things: ePlace , a kind of online shopping mall where you could find everything; Mastar Music , a free promotion agency for emerging artists.

I learned something new every time, even if the projects didn't go as well as I'd hoped.

Lucas's support

One person who has always pushed me not to give up is Lucas , my best friend for life.

We are different, but we have always had the same goal: to live our own way, without being part of the system.

When I left Master Music, many people didn't understand why. It was doing well, but it wasn't my passion.

I love music, but working on it didn't make me happy.

With Santos Legacy, however, I realized that this is my place. It's my thing.

The Santos Legacy Mission

Before any financial interest, I do it because I enjoy seeing people wear something I've created, and that's when I realized I truly love this job. I like to think that every piece carries a piece of history, mine and that of those who still believe in it.

And if you ask me what makes this Italian streetwear brand different from the others, I won't tell you "the quality" or "the designs."

Who is Santos Legacy for?
